AI platform for junior bankers achieves $2B valuation

AI startup Rogo has just nabbed $160 million in new funding, driving its valuation up to $2 billion. So what's attracted all that cash — and 35,000 users, including some of the world's biggest banks? Rogo's platform uses AI to handle the "dealmaking drudgery" usually assigned to junior bankers, like slide decks and research. Though critics worry Rogo could kill entry-level job opportunities, its founders argue it can instead release younger workers "from grunt work so they can try more meaningful roles earlier in their careers."

AI platform for junior bankers achieves $2B valuation
Today we’re announcing $160M in new financing, led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Sequoia, Thrive Capital, Khosla Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, BoxGroup, Mantis VC, Jack Altman, Evantic and Positive Sum. Rogo is now deployed across many of the world’s top investment banks, asset managers, and private equity firms. We’re grateful for the partnership of these clients and we know the hard work of truly transforming high finance is still in front of us. What comes next Finance runs on judgment, relationships, and insight. Over the last few decades, it’s also become an industry where some of the best people spend their time assembling decks and rebuilding models instead of talking to clients. AI changes that. It democratizes access to high finance, gives bankers their time back to do higher-leverage work, and helps our partners transform into the institutions they want to be. This capital lets us push further on every front: deeper integrations, more forward-deployed bankers and engineers embedded within the firms we serve, and continued expansion across EMEA and Asia. Thank you to our clients, our team, and our investors.
