Electronic Arts sold to Saudi-led consortium in $55B deal

Video game publishing giant Electronic Arts, known for enduring franchises like "Madden NFL" and "The Sims," has been acquired by a coalition led by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. Other investors in the $55 billion deal include Silver Lake Partners and Affinity Partners, a private equity firm owned by President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner. The buyers reportedly borrowed $20 billion from JPMorgan Chase to finalize the deal, which is believed to be the largest leveraged buyout in history.
